Why your hands and feet get cold:
Science explains that your body will try to keep the temperature of your vital organs (brain, heart, liver, kidneys, etc.) at 98 degrees Fahrenheit. Circulating blood spreads warmth throughout your body. When your core body temperature drops below 98 degrees, it decreases circulation to your extremities, such as your hands, feet and skin surfaces.
